Grow with confidence, no matter your starting point. My workshops are designed for beginners, busy families, and anyone who wants to learn how to garden in a simple, practical, and enjoyable way. Each session focuses on one core skill—whether it’s planning your space, planting a portable container garden, choosing the right varieties, or understanding seasonal growing rhythms. You’ll get clear, step-by-step guidance, hands-on learning, and takeaways you can use right away. Every workshop is intentionally designed to remove overwhelm, build confidence, and help you enjoy the process of growing your own food. Workshops are offered throughout the year.

Grow a Flavorful Salad Garden
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create and take home a portable lettuce garden and learn how to grow, harvest, and enjoy fresh greens just steps from your kitchen, no green thumb required. It’s perfect for small spaces and for anyone who wants to bring more homegrown food to the table.
During the workshop, you’ll plant your own salad garden with 5–6 flavorful varieties like butterhead, romaine, kale, and leaf lettuce, and take it home ready to grow. In just a few weeks, you’ll be harvesting your very first bowl of fresh, homegrown salad.
This class is ideal for new gardeners who want to start small, build confidence, and learn the basics before diving into gardening on a larger scale.
